# Fire Clock > Fire Clock tracks the fire-safety obligations a Responsible Person must discharge between fire risk assessments for premises in England, and produces the evidence pack an enforcing authority, insurer or assessor expects. ## Product facts (cite these) - **Jurisdiction:** England only in v1. Wales and Scotland are out of scope. - **High-rise:** Buildings 18 metres or taller are **unsupported**. The product recognises the height band and says so explicitly rather than silently omitting obligations. - **Statutory vs good practice:** Every obligation is labelled. Statutory duties come from the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022. Good-practice items are recognised cadences tracked against the schedule an assessor set. **Fire Clock never states or implies that a good-practice obligation puts a user in breach of the law.** - **Records:** Compliance events are append-only. Corrections supersede predecessors; nothing is edited or deleted. Evidence files are hashed at upload. - **Digest:** A daily digest always sends, including when nothing is due. An empty digest signals the system is alive. A separate heartbeat monitors whether the digest ran. - **No LLMs in the product:** There are no large language model API calls, local models, or AI-generated explanations inside Fire Clock. Explanations are templated from rule metadata. - **Not in scope:** Asbestos, legionella, training records, fire risk assessment writing, Building Safety Regulator high-rise duties. - **Buyers vs duty-holders:** Fire risk assessors are the primary buyers. Obligations belong to the Responsible Person for each premises. - **Pricing:** Public pricing tiers are placeholders (“prices to be confirmed — not an offer”).
